We were opening Christmas gifts when my much better half dropped a package on my lap — a cold, heavy package. Curious (and suddenly chilly), I opened it. Bacon. Six pounds of artisan bacon, ranging from thick-cut hickory-smoked to jalapeño-spiced and apple-cinnamon, varieties hailing from Virginia to upstate New York, Texas to Tennessee.

you may be wondering why a vegan

is participating in a blog about pig meat (or ANY meat for that matter).

well it's all because of chuck.

chuck has come up with a dazzling plan to have me eating bacon within a few short weeks (or was it months???)

i'd rather have chuck write about the regimen he has planned for me. it's quite detailed and well thought out. however, it's NOT UNLIKE training pavlov's dog

chuck hasn't seen the blog yet. i must do a big more work on it prior to unveiling it for him. i need pictures and so very much more.

so please be patient and chuck will be available to the masses SOON
